The frogs had leapt away
Long, long ago, in the swamps of the far North, there lived a very large and fierce crocodile. One day, he heard two frogs talking on a rock nearby.
“That Kangaroo sure is strong”
said one.
“Yeah, he’s the strongest animal in the whole, wide world”
, said the other.
“Grrrrr”
growled Croc,
“I’ll get you!”
But the frogs had leapt away in fright.
You see, Croc thought he was the greatest animal that had ever lived.
“I know”
he thought,
“I’ll go and find the Roo
and then everyone will know that Croc is the greatest!”
